Approximate duration: 11 hours

Early in the morning you will leave the capital to go the province of Alajuela where you will see Poás volcano. After the visit, you will head to the Atlantic zone in order to visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens. In this same place, you will go to one of the most beautiful garden of butterflies. Right after that, you will visit the amazing gallery of hummingbirds.

After lunch, you will go to Puerto Viejo, Sarapiquí where you will have a pleasant trip on boat through the river of Sarapiquí. The return to San José is through Braulio Carrillo National Park.

Breakfast, entrance to the coffee plantation, entrance fee to La Paz Waterfall Gardens and buffet lunch are included.
